On this day, the fifteenth anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have donated ¥190,000 from the relief funds raised through our knife-sharpening speed service operating from 12 September 2025 to 11 March 2026 to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund via the Japanese Red Cross Society.
Once the receipt becomes available for download, I shall upload it to the blog.
This brings the cumulative total of disaster relief donations to ¥6,863,993.

From Tuesday, October 7th through Monday, October 13th, our home-use knife sharpening speed service will be temporarily suspended due to the 40th Kappabashi Kitchenware Festival.
Additionally, we will be closed on Tuesday, the 14th.

From March 11 to September 11, 2025, we donated ¥140,000 from the disaster relief funds raised through our knife sharpening speed service to the Japan Red Cross Society as relief funds for the heavy rain disaster.
The cumulative total of disaster relief donations has now reached ¥6,673,993.
